Out there to see!

Some projects being in public places, the work we do is out there to see for all. We can be proud of many interesting and appealing projects.
Here are some.


Sculpture Kings Cross district, London

Sited in the centre of a restored grade 2 listed Victorian Gas holder frame. The Stainless Steel top ring plates were polished before each plate was cut into 16 equal sections to make up the ring. The columns that hold the ring in place are made of Stainless Steel plates that were also polished before being cut to size. Read more


Bristol Millennium Dome, Bristol

2mm Thick 316 Stainless Steel sheet was used on this project. The sheets were Bright polished at VSMT. This structure still looks as good today as it did in 2000.

 


 

Leaping Man, Milton Keynes

Leaping Man-processed at Vecom Sillavan Metal Treatment and now in Milton Keynes for all to see. The structure was commissioned to commemorate Greg Rutherford’s Olympic Gold Medal.


 

Calypso Building, Rotterdam

3mm Thick Aluminium sheet was used on this project. The sheets were Bright polished at VSMT, then anodised in the UK before being shipped to The Netherlands for construction.

 


 

Cardiff Bay Water Feature, Cardiff

316 Stainless Steel Sheet was used on this project. The sheets were ‘240/S’ polished at VSMT.

 


 

Brick Lane Minaret – Brick Lane, London

3 mm Thick 316 Stainless Steel sheet was used on this project. The sheets were ‘Pre Ground & Bright’ polished on one side at Vecom Sillavan Metal Treatment (VSMT). They were then laser cut and rolled into sections, and brought back to VSMT for passivation before construction.

Polished at Vecom Sillavan Metal Treatment Ltd. to a ground and bright finish.
