United Kingdom is leaving the European Union

Today, Friday January 31, 2020, is the day. The United Kingdom is leaving the European Union. A period of uncertainty has dawned for the Dutch business community. For large companies, but also for SME’s such as Vecom Group.

Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Mrs. Sigrid Kaag and chairwoman Mrs. Ineke Dezentjé Hamming of employers' organization FME therefore paid a working visit to our head office in Maassluis on this day to personally find out which bottlenecks we expect and which we would like to address in the coming negotiations with the British. The interest from the national and regional Dutch press was impressive. Later in the day on Twitter, the minister called Vecom a great company and she is absolutely right! The main TV channels highlighted the visit in their news bulletins the same evening and extensive articles appeared the day thereafter in leading newspapers.
